After deal spree, Supreme Group unites agencies to form new PR and communications group

Supreme Group has consolidated two of the companies it bought during a nine-deal, 18-month splurge, combining Amendola Communications and Health+Commerce to form a new PR and communications agency. 

Backed by Trinity Hunt Partners, Supreme Group bought Health+Commerce in May 2024 and acquired Amendola six months later. Health+Commerce provides public relations, marketing and creative services to healthcare companies. Amendola operates in a similar space, offering PR, marketing and social media services to healthcare, health tech and life sciences companies.

Supreme Group has unified the two companies to create a full-service PR and comms agency. Called Supreme Communications, the new agency will offer a range of services to companies working in health IT, digital health, medtech, biotech and pharma.

Nicky Battle, previously managing director and healthcare industry lead at Ketchum, has taken up the president role at Supreme Communications. Nicole Beckstrand, who joined Health+Commerce in 2020, has been promoted to managing director at Supreme Communications.

Echoing the recent comments of other agencies such as Imre, Supreme Group is putting artificial intelligence at the center of its strategy for the unified business. The company has created an AI platform, dubbed Supreme Intelligence, and set out its goal to “influence what earns attention and how stakeholders discover and evaluate brands.”

Supreme Communications is one of three core offerings at the broader company. Another unit focuses on brand and creative, while the third business specializes in performance digital and technology.

The company has built the units through a series of deals throughout the last two years. The spree followed Trinity Hunt Partners’ 2023 investment in Supreme Optimization, which then bought Clarity Quest Marketing later that year. The following year, Trinity formed Supreme Group to house the acquisitions. 

By the time Supreme Group bought Pivot Design this past August, the company had penned a whopping nine deals in 18 months.
